Project:
Create a winning Identity and jersey design for Northern California's number-two ranked high school mountain biking team.
Issues:
The Drake High School mountain biking team wanted a jersey design that would convey their strength, their ability and their firm belief that they could win the NorCal High School Mountain Bike Racing League Championships for 2004. They came with a small budget and very little time.
Solution:
Using the school colors, we quickly designed a simple yet powerful "moving target" or bull's eye Identity to express the racers' belief that they were indeed the team to beat.

By blurring the outline of the concentric rings of the target, we created the impression of a target in perpetual motion, always moving away from the competition and toward the goal. To give the sponsors maximum exposure, we displayed their logos clearly on the jerseys.
_____Outcome:
Not only did the racers love their jersey but they also won the 2004 NorCal Series. And, they have been covered in Sports Illustrated. Congratulations Drake High! Now that's great feedback.
